Over the years I have owned several dog and I have loved them all.  Well, maybe not my last dog. Daisy was different and while I hated to see her go there had to be a parting of the way. She was a purebred dachshund without the idiosyncrasy of a dachshund.  If you have ever owned a dog of this breed you will understand. Most dachshunds with short hair like to sleep under a blanket and cuddle next to you. Daisy did not like to do either and to top it off she had extremely big teeth for a dog her size. To make matters worse she disliked my wife. I believe it had something to do with her position, the dog’s position, in the pack—she was an “extreme alpha female” and wanted to dominate “her” pack.   

I live in a metropolitan area and I do not know whether there is an ordinance that requires dog owners to clean up their doggy poop or not.  It appears that everyone is doing it so if there is not an ordinance maybe it has become an accepted practice dog owners have imposed upon themselves.  Too bad cigarettes smokers cannot “police their own butts” as they would say in the military. It would make for a cleaner environment.

We owned Daisy before the time of this doggie cleanup “madness.”  Dog owners (or dog walkers) now carry plastic grocery or Ziploc bags with them when they take their pet for a walk.  When their dog has a bowel movement (a poop), the walker removes a bag from his/her pocket and graciously bends, with head turned to one side, down and picks up the poop using what I refer to as the “Bag the Poop” procedure. Whoever came up with this method was quite creative. Apparently it has been approved by PETA because all dog owners are using this technique.  

Let me describe the process to you. After a dog poops, the dog walker inserts their hand into a plastic bag; it is like putting on a glove. They then reach down and grab the poop with their covered hand. Caution! If you try this at home be sure to use bags that are in good condition. To complete the procedure the bag is then pulled down and over the poop.  Just like magic the poop is now in the bag and if done correctly the hand remains clean.  The final step is to zip the bag closed if it is a Ziploc, tie the bag with a twisty if it is a plastic bag or simply twirl, loop and pull the end through the loop if there is no twisty and presto you have completed a sterile “Bag the Poop.” I do not know what the procedure would be if the dog was having a “diarrhea day.” However, let’s not go there. I have never performed the procedure myself and I never intend to, but it looks fairly simple. 

I ask my wife to try this procedure the last time our toilet was stopped up but she refused.  Jokingly I said, “It’s not my poop.” Seeing the daggers in my wife’s eyes I tried to say, “I am just joking” but the words came too slowly out of my mouth.  It was too late as I apparently struck a nerve! Before the fight started I quickly apologized all the while mumbling to myself that I should stop joking around when there were serious issues to solve. 

With all the dog walkers bagging their dog’s poop it makes for cleaner sidewalks and yards.  There is nothing worse than stepping in dog poop especially if you are wearing new tennis shoes with all those deep treads and groves.  Since I no longer own a dog I am all for a Bag the Poop ordinance to be implement nationwide.  It is bound to be an environmental platform old Al can grasp and support.

But now, “Houston, we have a problem.”  The weather has been extremely hot recently in my part of the country, and I have not been doing a lot of walking.  Yesterday the weather was cool and pleasant, and I decided to go for a walk and enjoy the outdoors.  As I walked down the side walk I began to see, to my utter dismay and disgust, bags of poop that had been discarded behind bushes and trees.  Not just one or two but many; I counted ten bags in just a thirty minute walk. 

So what’s the problem you may ask? Lawn crews and even some homeowners now have to collect and dispose of plastic bags of dog poop left by selfish dog walkers or dog owners which again begs the question: Why do some leave their mess for someone else to clean up? Lawn crews and landfills will have to raise their rates if the trend continues with more and more bags of poop being left on other people’s property. Disgusting!

Why can’t “Bag the Poop” imitators, and that is what they are, not carry their own dog’s poop home with them especially since they have already done the nasty part?  Maybe some only bag when other people might be watching so as to be approvingly considered “environmentally green.” Poop does “return to nature” but plastic STAYS WITH US FOR YEARS so disposal remains a consideration.

So who are these people who leave their bags behind the bushes and shrubs on other people’s property?  I do not know as they do their dastardly deeds clandestinely in the dark wee hours of the night; otherwise they would be noticed and challenged.  Is it just laziness or what?  They all have outside garbage collection cans but who knows; maybe they use other people’s garbage cans or Wal-Mart store dumpsters. 

There have always been a few who feel they are above the rest; you see them every day breaking in front of others, parking in handicap spots without a sticker, throwing trash on the streets, demanding their right to be obscene and vulgar and etc.  But now, it appears that the few are becoming the many and the many are becoming the few.  Which one are you or which one do you want to be?

As I ponder about this it occurs to me that America’s social, economic and political problems are problems of integrity, the lack thereof to be specific. When dishonesty, self centered greed and corruption are not condemned all of society suffers. But, what can you expect from a people who no longer feel the Ten Commandments are not worthy of being displayed or taught? In other words, we are becoming a nation of imitation “poop baggers” who are leaving their mess for future generations to solve. Unfortunately, it is now past time to clean up America’s financial woes but like preceding generations of political party loyalists, party affiliations cannot be overcome for the good of the country.

For the politicians of America, the old Proverb rings true: “As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly” Proverbs 26:11 NIV.  In other words, no matter what our politicians promise, they cannot refrain from returning to immorality, greed and corruption when they perceive no one is watching. The same is true for too many of the rest of us…we know we need to remove the foul leavings but it’s easy to just “bag and toss.”

When politicians and the moral majority will not stand up and speak out to defend the moral and religious values that made this country great, and also made this country the envy of the world, America’s slide into the abyss is a certainty. But why not, most Americans who profess a belief in God will not stand or speak out. Our representatives do reflect America’s “new” values so it should be no surprise that government has become what it is. As the new saying goes, “It is what it is.”

Let’s see, where did I hang my “snow” shovel?  My representatives are about to speak, and there may be “poop” to shovel and bag.

The enlightened fools of America who have intellectually chosen to deny the existence of God—the Biblical God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—fashioned for themselves a world void of religion with its commandments and duties for a world where materialism would reign as their true god. Man (men an women) sought the pleasures of life while rejecting the freedom of life and built for themselves an “enlightened world” where its people embraced political correctness, social justice, sexual immorality and the mass murder of unwanted fetuses, most aborted by American women as a method of birth control. With the passage of ObamaCare, the elderly and handicapped will soon be the next group of “undesirables” to face early deaths as a medical cost saving solution that will be administered by government “death panels.”

Over two thousand years ago the apostle Paul described foolish man in the first chapter of Romans. “Man knew God but chose to worship and serve created things rather than the Creator (God),” my emphasis. President Obama, like many Christians, denies that Paul wrote these words under the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God and therefore rejects God’s condemnation of man. How many are under the spell of President Obama? “The god (Satan, my emphasis) of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2nd Corinthians 4:4 NIV).”

Paul wrote in the book of Romans, chapter one, that both women and men “exchanged natural relations for unnatural relations; women lusted for other women and men lusted for other men.” As a result of their lust “they received in themselves (diseases), as the penalty for their perversion.” I have paraphrased portions of chapter one in the quotes above. As a Christian you should read Romans for yourself and decide what you believe. If you chose to reject Paul’s words, you must reject the entire Christian doctrine and find yourself another religion and god.

One of the aspects of intellectual foolishness is man’s acceptance of homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle that should be encouraged and celebrated. Sexual immorality was found acceptable in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah during ancient times, but God destroyed both cities. Whether you believe in God or the stories, which were recorded in the book of Genesis, is really immaterial. Medical evidence abounds for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) resulting from homosexual activity. Medical science has not yet understood the resultant genetic abnormalities introduced by heterosexual and homosexual perversions.

Question: Why would a man choose to have sexual intercourse with another man? Is there more pleasure, or has the spirit of a demon made its presence known? God warns that this type of sex is unnatural and dangerous. I will not debate the “I was born that way” argument but will simple say this; If homosexuals want to engage in dangerous sexual behavior, they should keep it amongst other men who practice the homosexual life style; anal sex between consenting men is not normal and is condemned in the Holy Bible. Homosexual men should not have sex with a woman once they have had sex with a man. Otherwise, they will infect the genetics of future generations. One-day scientist will recognize this as medically accurate. Ignorance on the part of today’s medical community is laughable given that man, enlightened by God, knew the dangers of sexual immorality more than three thousand years ago.

For the women (and men) out there I also have a question. Why not stay a virgin until you marry? Why would you risk having sex with a man or possibly other men who have been having sex with other men or women, who have had sex with a man who has had sex with another man? You only risk disease(s) that even medical doctors cannot fully explain or cure that will ultimately affect your body, maybe in the form of a cancer or another abnormality, or possibly affect future children you may bear. The ancients told us it was wrong for a reason. It was not that they did not want man to enjoy sex; it was that they did not want man’s genetics to be contaminated by dangerous sexual activity. Please, don’t give me the “safe sex” scenario because there is no such thing as safe sex with someone other than within a truly committed marriage (that is marriage between a man and woman for the enlightened group out there).

America, you have made your choice. You chose to accept and approve the homosexual lifestyle rather than accept the commandments given to you by your creator (God). No one who calls himself or herself a believer in Jesus Christ can accept homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle acceptable by God. If you do accept homosexuality or sexual immorality of any type, you do not have Jesus Christ in you, and you are not in Jesus Christ. It is just that simple, and it is Biblical.

Even your peace loving believers of Islam and Allah do not and will not tolerate or accept homosexuality as a lifestyle choice. Once Shari Law is instituted, homosexuals will find out about Islamic tolerance the hard way—maybe by the loss of their head. Find out for yourself by visiting your local mosque: profess to be a practicing homosexual and express a desire to join their fellowship.

Until the Holy Bible is declared to contain hate speech by President Obama, his Czars, Progressive Democrats and Republicans, and ungodly Federal Judges, homosexuality will continued to be rejected by Christians who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Once condemned as containing hate speech, only the true Christian will continue to condemn homosexuality even though they may face imprisonment or death.

That is my opinion for today. What is yours?

My fiftieth high school reunion was held this past weekend.  I had always said I would go to my fiftieth, but one of those unplanned circumstances (laziness and procrastination about completing the registration forms) changed my mind.  Maybe I will attend my fifty-fifth or sixtieth.

I did, however, do the next best thing. I spend the evening of the reunion in my office studio paging through my senior annual and reading the pages of salutations. It is fun to relive, in my mind, some of the good memories of that time.  I do not have any bad memories, and that is the truth!

There was no one from my high school graduating class that I had a “need to see” or any “crushes or girlfriend” memories that I needed to relive; I did not date or participate in any activities during my high school days. A tragic loss on my part, but it was in keeping with my self-loathing at the time.  My close’s high school, neighbor friend from that time I still see occasionally, and there are others that I sometime see at the local “Varsity” fast food restaurant.

If the truth were known the now popular “Facebook” Internet site, for most, is a waste of time, but fun; at least that is the word on the street. I would find it hard to bear my soul if there was a chance I would press the wrong key and tell the world my innermost secrets.  However, it has served to satisfy my curiosity as to the gracefulness of the aging process.  Some individuals still look pretty much the same in that I would be able to pick them out of a crowd.  Others have changed quite a bit; Mother Nature has been good to some.  I am afraid I would fall into “a not so good” category, and as I would be pretty much unrecognizable by acquaintances of the past. 

As I look through the salutations written in the front and back of my senior annual, a few stand out. Apparently a lot of people thought I was a “really nice guy.” One or two gave me credit for their math success. Some girls even thought I was “cute,” and one would even like to “become better acquainted.” I wonder how I missed that one! However, the following two I found most interesting, and I have quoted them as they were written (no identifying names, of course): the first, “Here’s wishing all the luck to a nice guy.  I could say something better but I don’t know you that good, Thanks (signed by a guy),” and the second, “Always a joy to have one steady guy with all this “stuck up” crowd (signed by a girl).” 

What would I do differently if I had to do it all over again? I would have tried to be a little friendlier and not so withdrawn, and I would have participated in more activities.  But, I would not want to be anyone other than the person I am, and that is a fact.

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”  Romans 8: 5-8 KJV.

Who are we, as created man, that we should question the will and actions of our Creator? 

I caught the last portion of a comedy routine between Bill O’Reilly (O’Reilly), host of “The Factor” and Bill Maher (Maher), HBO’s “Real Time” that was telecast on the 09-30-10, O’Reilly show.  I am sure it was comedy unless maybe it was political satire; I was amazed at the verbiage being “articulated” as facts. I later listened to a replay of the entire discussion on the O’Reilly web site just to make sure I heard correctly.  In the end, I guess you would call this political comedy.

Their routine covered various “political” topics, the enormity and complexity of which, neither fully grasped but who both seemingly felt was truth as seen by their own eyes.  Unfortunately for the audience, it was the same opinionated bunk that media entertainers, both political and comedy, spew while wallowing in their own “pigsties” in their daily quest for ratings.

Bill Maher, who apparently considers himself an atheist (and O’Reilly is ok with that), tried to make a point in defending his stance, “that most Americans are stupid who are trying to reject ObamaCare (my emphasis),” by slamming faith believers and their belief in God and the Biblical scriptures. His attempt at using an example from the Old Testament that he thought was from the book of Deuteronomy was thwarted by O’Reilly’s “fast, bold talk and run host style,” but only proves once again that atheist, who profess not to believe in God, spend a lot of time talking about the God they do not believe exists.  While not an exact quote, Maher’s statement went something like, “it’s about how a person who was caught working on the Sabbath should be put to death”. 

Bill O’Reilly was not familiar with the text Maher was trying to quote so he (O’Reilly) moved the discussion to a higher plane by “confessing up” to being a Christian.  In his opinion the Old Testament was allegorical, and as a Christian (howbeit unschooled in the basic doctrine of the Gospel of Jesus Christ) he had placed his belief in the New Testament; he also believed Jesus was a good man and that we should follow his example.  Both were representing that they knew “the truth about God” but in reality the joke is on them as their ruler, known as Lucifer, has blinded them to the degree that they do not even realize that they have been duped. 

Both were trying to discuss subjects that eluded them.  Why people of supposedly intellectual understanding who have no respect for the Holiness of the Bible, who have in many cases never read the Bible in its entirety, and who have certainly never read the Bible under the guidance and influence of the Holy Spirit, offer themselves up as experts or even try to quote scriptures from the Bible is beyond belief.  Perhaps their “self-proclaimed expertise” led millions of people, who tuned in to the show, astray or confused.  I actually found it humorous; two puppets on a string being jerked around by spiritual forces (in this case evil) that neither believes exist. 

The scripture Maher was trying to quote (and O’reilly had no knowledge of) is found in Exodus 35: 1-2 KJV, “And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, ‘These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.  Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.’” 

Moses, under God’s guidance, was leading the Hebrew people from the pagan world of Egypt to a new land populated by pagans.  To set the Hebrew people apart from the life style of pagan nations, God established laws and commandments, some seemingly harsh, for them to follow.   Read for yourself the details of the law in the books of Exodus and Leviticus. 

The Hebrew “children of God” were even given instructions on urinating and defecating hygiene, see Deuteronomy 23: 12-13, as they were wandering through the wilderness on the way to the Promise Land;” talk about having to start with the basic.  The Ancient One, God, knew the pagan life style with its emphasis on sexual immorality and idol worship only led to depraved minds and disease-laden bodies; acts of sexual immorality are pleasurable until the sexually transmitted diseases begin to work their debilitating destruction on the body (even to future generations).

What about the following two laws and their punishments as commanded by God that are recorded in the book of Leviticus?

·        “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” Leviticus 20:13 KJV.

·        “And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death” Leviticus 20:10 KJV.

America would have a hard time fulfilling the law today.  Most Americans condone adultery and sodomy, but they are still “detestable in God’s sight.”  I would say that many of man’s mental, social and physical diseases of the body, soul and spirit are the results of the violation of these two laws: adultery and sodomy.  Just consider; sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s); broken homes; abused, abandoned and fatherless children; cancer and its victims; other diseases common to man, and all as a result of sexual immorality (Sex is to be between a man and a woman within a marriage relationship.) If nothing else, consider the money spent on health issues that result from diseases that could be prevented by following abstinence before marriage.  As a side note, abstinence is helping to reduce the occurrences of AIDs in Africa and other parts of the world where it is being practiced.

God set man free from the condemnation of law through His son Jesus Christ.  Man can live by his own greatness and humanity, but man’s way only spirals to immorality, lust and greed and all the ways of a pagan lifestyle; check out the American life style.  Again, read the laws and commandments given to the Hebrews; the laws were given for protection, not punishment.  Punishment was reserved for those who refused to stop their pagan practices—child sacrifice, sexual immorality, stealing, greed, lust, sorceries, false testimony, and other acts of inhumanity. 

Today, people are inundated with both facts and fiction when listening to or reading the various media sources—radio, television, Internet, newspaper.  A lot of discussion is centered on versions of the truth presented from different perspectives; so much so that it is hard to differentiate between what is true and what is false.  Truth is in the eye of the hearer just as “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”  As such, debating bobble heads with agendas, talking uncontrollably, are made to be the presenters of truth. In reality, only a person who is of a mindset controlled by the Spirit of God knows the real “TRUTH.”

God calls the people he desires and whom He wishes to save!  Before a person can come to God he must have come under conviction—feel in his heart and soul that his life is empty, he is outside the will of God by his lifestyle of immorality, greed, lust, and other sins of the flesh; and that he needs God.  When a person is at this level and calls on God to save him, God will.  The Holy Spirit of God will then come and live within the soul and spirit of the new believer and provide direction and understanding. The believer must relinquish his/her self-will to the Holy Spirit.

The TRUTH presented in the Bible is made transparent to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The following is TRUTH:

·        The Bible is the inspired word of God given to man, for his benefit. 

·        The scriptures of the Bible cannot be understood unless the reader is a believer of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  

·        A future life with the God of the Bible can only be obtained by the acceptance of the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ—the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

·        The Holy Spirit of God must indwell the believer in Jesus Christ; “…if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ” Romans 8: 9 NIV.

A majority of those who claim to be Christian do not have or know the TRUTH.  It would behoove those who do not know the Truth to stop pretending that they are possessors of the TRUTH and are living in TRUTH.  Only those who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ know the real TRUTH and belong to Him. 

As the people of America become more embittered at the thought of having elected a President that seeks to destroy the Republic by eliminating God and by abandoning its Constitution, there may still be time left for God to answer the prayers of His people.  As recorded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 KVJ, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

May God have mercy on our souls and on our nation.  In the mean time, tune in to the Bill and Bill shows if you have time to waste.

Lately, I have become a fan of Dr. Oz (www.doctoroz.com).  I believe his informative medical program is filling a void at a time when many are seeking to become healthier through simple lifestyle changes in nutrition, exercise and weight loss. Frequently his program also examines medical concerns or conditions that have in the past been considered too embarrassing or socially taboo.

His recent television show exposing teenage sexuality in its crassest form should frighten all parents and grandparents.   The frightening aspects are unwanted pregnancies and diseases that will have a lifetime impact on those who, in some cases, only engaged in a sexual act of promiscuity one time.  Whether you want to accept it or not, teenagers and many preteens are engaging in dangerous sexual practices without any knowledge of the life changing consequences that may result.

The continual practice of unprotected anal, oral, and vaginal sex practiced without regard to gender or number of participants will ultimately lead to a life time of incurable and life threatening diseases that could ultimately lead to death. America’s teenagers are engaging in these practices without regard to the consequences that may result. This is a medical and social fact that no one wants to discuss but that must be discussed.

Sexually transmitted diseases are real, but they are not new.  Hollywood promotes sexuality as being cool and liberating, and many in the world have accepted and condoned their message. Your teenage children and grandchildren have embraced the “lie” and “lifestyle” of Hollywood and are recklessly engaging in sexual practices that they have not been forewarned against.

Is this a new phenomenon that has suddenly appeared?  In a word, “NO.” Sexually transmitted diseases were known and written about thousands of years ago.  Biblical writers called them “sins” because many people of the time would not have understood the terminology and concept of virus and bacterial infections.  Most of our teenagers and to some extent their parents do not understand the dangers and have been unwilling to jointly discuss.

Although this is both a morality and public health issue, a discussion with your child should not initially be about morality but about your child’s safety and health.  This should be an open discussion and not a lecture on right and wrong.  A frank discussion about the dangers of unprotected sexual practices could make a difference in a child’s life.  Do it today!

If you have never given sexual immorality and godlessness much of a thought, consider what Paul wrote in the book of Romans (NKJV), chapter 1, verses 18-32.  Whether you will consider it or not is a decision you will have to make.

Consider if you will Paul’s words written through the inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit almost two thousand years ago.  Apparently man is not as intelligent as he considers himself given his arrogance in ignoring history.

Romans 1:18-32

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

I‘m not listening to it anymore. The whining, bickering, soothsaying, innuendos, blatant lies and other propaganda agendas of the Democratic, Republican and other political interest groups is more than one can take and still maintain their civility, not to mention their sanity.  From my perspective, it’s the classic struggle between those who feel government gives them their rights and protections and who want an ungodly socialistic form of government and those who feel God gives them their rights and protection and wants to retain the Constitutional Republic our founding fathers and other patriots have fought to defend since our country’s founding.

It is sad to say but it will take, more than likely, the shedding of blood to retain our Constitutional form of government; our division is too great to resolve our differences peacefully at the ballot box.  The shedding of blood, however, will only take place if a catastrophic event shakes the very foundation of American society.  Baring this event, the American people will willingly acquiesce to socialism and abandon the Constitutional Republic our founders created. Unfortunately for America, many who call themselves “Christians” no longer believe in God and thus no longer have the protection of God.

There is really no debate or for that matter any rejection of  “bobble head” (search Blog posts for “bobble head”) assertions that are being expounded on our so-called news networks.  We have accepted the premise: “Everyone is beating their dog so it is OK to beat your dog since everyone is beating their dog.” A lie is a lie and the truth is the truth; there is no in-between.  When did it ever become right to accept a wrong just because others are doing it? What has happened to our morality as a nation and as individuals when we allow and condone: lying, cheating, sexual immorality, perversions and others deviancies of our elected officials and business leaders. America has chosen to believe “the lie,” and to “reject the truth.” and thus has been willingly deceived. America will pay the consequences for her actions.

This brings me to my New Years Resolutions, which are as follows: 

• I will stand and proclaim “Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior” and his assertion that He is the only path to heaven as Truth and reject the political correctness of a godless nation.

• As a believer in Jesus Christ I will reject the godlessness of those who engage in a lifestyle of: “…sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery: idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, faction and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like,” as given in Galatians 5:19-21, and  “people who are: “…lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power,” as given in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

NOTE: To not associate with people identifiable by the characteristics or behaviors listed above would result in a very lonely and friendless existence.  I believe the Biblical scriptures quoted refer to believers in Jesus Christ who are in fellowships (churches) with “professing Christians” who condone and exhibit such behaviors; you should not associate with them, as false disciples or followers of Jesus Christ, once they have been repeatedly warned to repent.

To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ requires Christians to associate with non-Christians. How else will non-Christians learn to understand unconditional love and forgiveness promised by Jesus to those who believe? We are instructed to be “salt and light” and thus an example of what the Christian life is all about. Since I once walked in the darkness of the world and willingly participated in the worldly activities of the “human desires of the flesh,” I feel well qualified to point others to the light of this world—that light being found only in Jesus Christ.   

• My support for any political candidate, both monetarily and at the ballot box, will only be given to men and women of integrity, morality and Godliness. I will only support candidates who demonstrate their allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and who will demand our branches of government, the Executive, Legislative and Judicial, remain within the bounds of their authority as given in the Constitution. 

• I will reject Socialism, Communism, and Fascism as acceptable forms of government, and also those who support, campaign or seek to legislate an “ism” through constitutional or unconstitutional means. I will also oppose a godless “one world government.”

• I will only support political candidates whose platform includes at a minimum: A balanced budget, elimination of earmarks, limited terms of service, a strong military, unrestricted gun ownership, a belief in the sanctify of life, and limited government intervention and restrictions on America’s free enterprise capitalistic economy. 

• My list of resolutions will grow as the year progresses.  If you are like-minded, may I include your list for our nation?

 The only rights American citizens have are God given rights, and our founding fathers acknowledged these rights— “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” —in our Constitution. Each individual must earn all other so-called rights by the “sweat of their brow.” To do otherwise only promotes a society of people who cannot or will not care or provide for themselves.

Look at what government has done to America.  You don’t have to look any further than the masses seeking shelter in the New Orleans’ Dome following the aftermath of Katrina, the big city ghettoes of America, or the American Indian reservations. While demanding excellence our government condoned and supported mediocrity and “social equality” and produced generations of uneducated, unmotivated, “what’s in it for me” government puppets that think of themselves as citizens but really are no more than “leaches or social parasites” who would starve to death in a prolonged national emergency without the assistance of the government.  They are of such character as to continually blame others for their situation, even to the point of their death.

It all must stop and it must stop now. But unfortunately, it is too late. Americans wanted a godless nation and now they have it. They have been brainwashed to accept and worship the Antichrist at his coming.

May God bless the souls of all believers as they watch and wait for Jesus Christ’s Second Coming.  Come quickly Lord Jesus.

The American Humanist Association’s, “No God?…No Problem!,” Christmas ad campaign is right on the mark.  Once God is finally removed from America, President Obama’s pledge to “fundamentally change America” will be complete—not that he had anything to do with this ad.  Humanist, Atheist and the “nones,” people who profess and claim no religion, along with other like minded individuals and groups will be able to enjoy humanity at its finest.  After all, man can live a moral life and do good works without God; that is exactly what some fifty-seven percent of the religious evangelical church members in America practice and believe.  Fools, look around; the world is growing worse, not better.  Man in and of himself cannot make a better world.

I reject the “No God?…No Problem!” satanic mantra of the Humanist.  Jesus Christ is the “reason for the season.”  Jesus did no wrong yet He was rejected by the religious leaders of His day and crucified.  Jesus set us free from “man-made” religious laws.  To follow Jesus all you have to do is confess your sins, repent, believe and follow the lead of His Holy Spirit.  In Jesus you find love, forgiveness and eternal life, not religion.

Man, however, needs man-made rules, regulations and religious rituals; worldly “things” Jesus set us free from.  I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and freely allow the Holy Spirit of God to dwell within me and to guide me in my life’s journey; I have freedom in Jesus Christ from religion.  If you have never experienced the love of Jesus Christ you will fall prey to the “Humanist” mentality and will embrace the other “gods” of this world.  Don’t do it!

I would like for the Humanists to try this in their ad campaign: “No Allah? … No Problem!”  Let them cast stones at the Islamic god.  Christians just sit idle while their God is defamed.  Followers of true Islam will burn you and “the bus you might be riding” if you slander their god. Try it if you really believe in the deity of man.

Jesus Christ can give you  “peace that surpasses all understanding.”  I have first hand experience with the love and forgiveness only Jesus Christ can give.  His love and forgiveness is free just for the asking.  Want you give Him a chance? Seek Him out.  He is the “Real Thing!”

Forget about all the self-help books, find a Bible and start reading. Talk (pray) to God as you read. You will find God if you will surrender your will to Him.

I have just posted “Thoughts about Prayer” and “An End Time Scenario” that I hope you will have time to read. Look to the right on your screen and you should find them.  They both are quite lengthy, and I do sincerely apologize but the words would not stop.  I have been critical of others who post lengthy works, and I would understand such criticism of my own work.

The material that I have posted since April of this year continues to baffle me.  I never sit down with the intent of writing.  In fact, I have writers block when I try to write a “Thank You Card,” as writing does not come natural to me and was never my “cup of tea.”  In fact, I feel some moments of shame as to the “professionalism” of my writings when I look back on some of the posts I have made. 

Since early this year, however, thoughts form in my mind with most coming during the early morning hours, usually before five in the morning.  When they do I grab a pencil and paper, or I walk up the stairs to my office and begin to write as I sit at my computer.  The words just flow and usually a rather lengthy blog document is the outcome.

I mostly feel compelled to write about the Trinity as presented in the Biblical Scriptures; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Also, I feel compelled to write about America and her love affair with the materialism of this day and age.

I do on occasion try to interject some humor.  More responses have come form my “Man Gone Wild” posts than from any of my other posts: “The Trip Tattoo,” “The Bobble Head,” and “Do you suffer from PPCCS” are the more favored.  Use the search field near the bottom on the right to quickly find the posts.  Just type in a key word, and they should appear.

My brother-in-law was recently kidnapped at gunpoint from his home.  As he pulled into his drive he noticed nothing unusual, but when he got out of his car two men wearing ski masks suddenly confronted him. “Get in the back seat,” one said. He remembers saying, “you’ve got to be kidding me.”

His ordeal began around mid-night on a Saturday evening as he was returning home from work and ended some six hours later when a good Samaritan (a jogger) found him wandering half-naked in a secluded park some thirty miles away.

Why he was selected is unknown. Police speculate it was just a random act of opportunity — They saw his car, a new Lexus, and apparently followed him home.  He owns his own business so there might be a business connection, but no one really knows. 

His injuries included a fractured ankle and ribs, multiple face and head lacerations that required stitches, and internal bleeding.  He was hospitalized for several days and after some three weeks still has some soreness.  I cannot imagine the mental anguish he has suffered not to mention the physical pain.  He still has trouble talking about it; he tells his sister, who would have made a good investigator given all the questions she has asked, that she does not want to know all the details. We thank God that he was not killed.

During his abduction he remembers being driven to ATM machines where his credit cards were used to withdraw money.  They told him not to worry because the credit card companies would give him the money back; I guess they know from being experienced kidnappers and were trying to console him (some consolation for all the pain).  After getting cash from the ATM’s the assailants used the money to make drug purchases.  Video pictures from the ATM’s show only masked faces.

Also during his ordeal he was “imprisoned” in the back seat of his own car. Any protest or speaking resulted in a blow to the head. He would occasionally ask to be released, and that is when he would be struck. He remembers the assailants talking about how, or if, they would be able to clean up all the blood on the back seat; head wounds bleed profusely.  When he returned to his home he remembers a section of his driveway being extensively blood splattered.

The police found his car later. It had been burned. Apparently the clean up was going to be too much trouble, and they wanted to burn any DNA evidence they may have left. 

Would having a gun have helped?  In this case “No.”  The assailants were on him too fast.  If he had had a gun in his hand maybe the out come would have been different, but who wants to walk around with a drawn gun and fearful that someone would attack you at any time?  Not me, that is no way to live one’s life.

In today’s world not only do you need protection from the criminal elements of today’s society, but you also need protection from your own government. Your best and only protection, however, is “Yourself!”  The government wants to take your guns.  Once they have your guns they will began to take other freedoms, and you will be left defenseless.

The criminals, however, will always have guns and they will rule over you if they are the only ones armed.  I say, “We, as American citizens, must take a stand and demand all of our rights as provided under our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.  We must demand that our full freedom to protect ourselves as “militia men and women” be restored until the criminal elements of society are defeated.” Write your State and Federal Senators and Representatives and demand legislation be enacted to allow every American Citizen the freedom to carry a gun without a permit until law and order is restored in these United States of America.

If you are concerned about defending yourself, look at the words of Jesus found in Luke 22:35-38 (NKJV). “And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.” 

Until Jesus’ return we must protect ourselves.  Big government is here to stay and our freedoms are about to be taken unless the timid and cowardly join with the patriots who are trying to save America.

As I walked the beach in Clearwater this past week another thought occurred to me.  While watching the pelicans dive for fish, I also watched the gulls as they would hover around the pelicans, sometimes even sitting on their back, in attempts to take the pelican’s catch.  Even if they were successful other gulls would chase them in an attempt to steal what they had stolen.  You could almost hear them calling, “me, me, me.”

Many in America are the same way.  “It is all about me, selfish me.”  “Who will take care of me,” they proclaim in much the same way as the gulls?  When politicians are willing to sacrifice theirs and our children and grandchildren’s future for their own gratification and greed, our America as we have known it, will soon no longer exist.  I would rather make the big sacrifices now.  “Bite the bullet,” one would say.  Let us suffer the pain now.  No more bailouts, no more handouts, and no more government bureaucracy.  “NO MORE, NO MORE,” freedom-loving Americans cry out. 

In spite of the cruelty that abounds in this world, there is a protector in Jesus Christ.  Do you have Him as your protector?  He is the only one who can guarantee protection of your soul from the Lake of Fire and grant you eternal life. In my case He gave me a guardian angel to protect my body and the Holy Spirit to save my soul.  What about you?

The “ObamaCare” health care debate has turned into one of the greatest debacles of the twenty-first century.  There are so many lies and distorted truths being told that it is hard to grasp the real facts.  The sad fact is that so many Americans have accepted lying as a life style and even condone the actions of those who tell lies. 

No one would deny medical care to someone in need.  No one wants to see people suffer needlessly.  There is a common sense solution, but the “out of control” executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government and the political parties they represent are only concerned about satisfying elements of society who they can control. This control will guarantee America’s move to a more radical and controlling form of government.  But, we have all heard enough about the medical problems of today and the lies being told.  Your opinion on this topic probably cannot be changed, and neither can mine! 

Think about this.  The ultimate medical plan for man (men and women) was established in the beginning, at man’s creation.  Eons ago man’s original body was design for centuries of living.  In most cases, excluding catastrophic accidents, man’s body was self-healing.  Before the time of the flood as recorded in Genesis 6, man’s life expectancy was recorded in hundreds of years.  Methuselah had the oldest recorded life span of 969 years as recorded in Genesis 5:27. 

At the time of Noah and the flood (Genesis 7:6 recorded Noah as being 600 years old) there was great wickedness and evil on the earth. It is recorded that Sons of God came to earth and had sexual relations with the daughters of men.  From these sexual unions came giants: “Heroes of old, men of renown” they were called.  With such great evil and wickedness on the earth, God (humor me here, you don’t have to believe in God) shortened man’s life span from 900 +/- years to 120 years.  Read the story of Noah and the flood in Genesis 6. 

This is evolution at its finest: a genetic change.  Perhaps man’s original bodies were able to regenerate failing organs or injured limbs much in the same way certain species of salamanders or lizards can grow a tail or leg that is severed.  Think about it.  Think about the world’s population if this was now possible as it may have been in the dateless past. It is almost mind-boggling.  

Without sin — acts of sexual immorality, gluttony, envy and other human attributes of desire — man could have had a long and productive life. Because of sin and disobedience, man’s life was shortened. Let’s face it; man has created his own health care fiasco by simply rejecting his creator’s commandants regarding healthy living. 

We now have generations of “sick” people, and we only have our human nature’s lust and desire to blame. Even with today’s medical knowledge, man cannot live to be one hundred and twenty years of age.    

Miracles and healing, God’s medical plan for His followers, are still possible for those who believe and who have relinquished their self will to the Trinity of God.  All things are possible for those who love the Lord.  If God is calling you, listen and answer his call by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  Yes, it sounds like foolishness to those who will perish.  For myself, I had rather be thought a fool, than be a fool.   

God can heal your body and soul if you will only believe.  I am a medical miracle because of Jesus Christ, and I want to tell you about God’s love so that you may experience it for yourself.
