Over the years I have owned several dog and I have loved them all.  Well, maybe not my last dog. Daisy was different and while I hated to see her go there had to be a parting of the way. She was a purebred dachshund without the idiosyncrasy of a dachshund.  If you have ever owned a dog of this breed you will understand. Most dachshunds with short hair like to sleep under a blanket and cuddle next to you. Daisy did not like to do either and to top it off she had extremely big teeth for a dog her size. To make matters worse she disliked my wife. I believe it had something to do with her position, the dog’s position, in the pack—she was an “extreme alpha female” and wanted to dominate “her” pack.   

I live in a metropolitan area and I do not know whether there is an ordinance that requires dog owners to clean up their doggy poop or not.  It appears that everyone is doing it so if there is not an ordinance maybe it has become an accepted practice dog owners have imposed upon themselves.  Too bad cigarettes smokers cannot “police their own butts” as they would say in the military. It would make for a cleaner environment.

We owned Daisy before the time of this doggie cleanup “madness.”  Dog owners (or dog walkers) now carry plastic grocery or Ziploc bags with them when they take their pet for a walk.  When their dog has a bowel movement (a poop), the walker removes a bag from his/her pocket and graciously bends, with head turned to one side, down and picks up the poop using what I refer to as the “Bag the Poop” procedure. Whoever came up with this method was quite creative. Apparently it has been approved by PETA because all dog owners are using this technique.  

Let me describe the process to you. After a dog poops, the dog walker inserts their hand into a plastic bag; it is like putting on a glove. They then reach down and grab the poop with their covered hand. Caution! If you try this at home be sure to use bags that are in good condition. To complete the procedure the bag is then pulled down and over the poop.  Just like magic the poop is now in the bag and if done correctly the hand remains clean.  The final step is to zip the bag closed if it is a Ziploc, tie the bag with a twisty if it is a plastic bag or simply twirl, loop and pull the end through the loop if there is no twisty and presto you have completed a sterile “Bag the Poop.” I do not know what the procedure would be if the dog was having a “diarrhea day.” However, let’s not go there. I have never performed the procedure myself and I never intend to, but it looks fairly simple. 

I ask my wife to try this procedure the last time our toilet was stopped up but she refused.  Jokingly I said, “It’s not my poop.” Seeing the daggers in my wife’s eyes I tried to say, “I am just joking” but the words came too slowly out of my mouth.  It was too late as I apparently struck a nerve! Before the fight started I quickly apologized all the while mumbling to myself that I should stop joking around when there were serious issues to solve. 

With all the dog walkers bagging their dog’s poop it makes for cleaner sidewalks and yards.  There is nothing worse than stepping in dog poop especially if you are wearing new tennis shoes with all those deep treads and groves.  Since I no longer own a dog I am all for a Bag the Poop ordinance to be implement nationwide.  It is bound to be an environmental platform old Al can grasp and support.

But now, “Houston, we have a problem.”  The weather has been extremely hot recently in my part of the country, and I have not been doing a lot of walking.  Yesterday the weather was cool and pleasant, and I decided to go for a walk and enjoy the outdoors.  As I walked down the side walk I began to see, to my utter dismay and disgust, bags of poop that had been discarded behind bushes and trees.  Not just one or two but many; I counted ten bags in just a thirty minute walk. 

So what’s the problem you may ask? Lawn crews and even some homeowners now have to collect and dispose of plastic bags of dog poop left by selfish dog walkers or dog owners which again begs the question: Why do some leave their mess for someone else to clean up? Lawn crews and landfills will have to raise their rates if the trend continues with more and more bags of poop being left on other people’s property. Disgusting!

Why can’t “Bag the Poop” imitators, and that is what they are, not carry their own dog’s poop home with them especially since they have already done the nasty part?  Maybe some only bag when other people might be watching so as to be approvingly considered “environmentally green.” Poop does “return to nature” but plastic STAYS WITH US FOR YEARS so disposal remains a consideration.

So who are these people who leave their bags behind the bushes and shrubs on other people’s property?  I do not know as they do their dastardly deeds clandestinely in the dark wee hours of the night; otherwise they would be noticed and challenged.  Is it just laziness or what?  They all have outside garbage collection cans but who knows; maybe they use other people’s garbage cans or Wal-Mart store dumpsters. 

There have always been a few who feel they are above the rest; you see them every day breaking in front of others, parking in handicap spots without a sticker, throwing trash on the streets, demanding their right to be obscene and vulgar and etc.  But now, it appears that the few are becoming the many and the many are becoming the few.  Which one are you or which one do you want to be?

As I ponder about this it occurs to me that America’s social, economic and political problems are problems of integrity, the lack thereof to be specific. When dishonesty, self centered greed and corruption are not condemned all of society suffers. But, what can you expect from a people who no longer feel the Ten Commandments are not worthy of being displayed or taught? In other words, we are becoming a nation of imitation “poop baggers” who are leaving their mess for future generations to solve. Unfortunately, it is now past time to clean up America’s financial woes but like preceding generations of political party loyalists, party affiliations cannot be overcome for the good of the country.

For the politicians of America, the old Proverb rings true: “As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly” Proverbs 26:11 NIV.  In other words, no matter what our politicians promise, they cannot refrain from returning to immorality, greed and corruption when they perceive no one is watching. The same is true for too many of the rest of us…we know we need to remove the foul leavings but it’s easy to just “bag and toss.”

When politicians and the moral majority will not stand up and speak out to defend the moral and religious values that made this country great, and also made this country the envy of the world, America’s slide into the abyss is a certainty. But why not, most Americans who profess a belief in God will not stand or speak out. Our representatives do reflect America’s “new” values so it should be no surprise that government has become what it is. As the new saying goes, “It is what it is.”

Let’s see, where did I hang my “snow” shovel?  My representatives are about to speak, and there may be “poop” to shovel and bag.

  “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

So, what does it matter whether one says the Pledge of Allegiance or not? What does it matter if the Pledge includes “under God” or not? Likewise, what does it matter if one believes in God or not?  What does it matter if someone has sexual relations with a donkey, sheep or goat (Hopefully not, but it does happen.)?  In essence, why does anything matter at all?  As long as a person can do or say anything they want and gratify their own mental and body needs and desires, why should anyone care about someone else’ morality or religion? The last sentence reflects, in my opinion, the present morality and belief of the majority of the present generation of Americans and if not changed, will lead to the downfall of the United States.

As you ponder upon the questions above, think about this.  If the Biblical story of Satan being swept from God’s presence and taking with him one-third of the stars (Satan’s angels) is true (Revelation 12:7-9), and I believe it is, could it be that one-third of mankind are children of Satan’s worldly kingdom and are without conscience or morality? Judging by the realities of the world today, I would say it is true and also that the numbers are rising.  

Can the world become as immoral as mankind was during the time of Noah?  Once again, think about the story of Noah and the ARK. You do not have to believe it is true, but I do.  It is recorded that Noah was a righteous man (Genesis 6:5-10).  He along with his wife and their three sons and daughter-in-laws were the only remnants of mankind to survive the flood.  The immorality of the rest of humanity was more than God could stand so He put them to death. America faces the same dilemma in that their immorality is becoming more and more despicable in the eyes of a Holy God.

The United States of America is the greatest country that has ever existed.  That is my opinion! You may not agree, but that is OK as long as you are not deliberately supporting and participating in America’s destruction and downfall by: accepting or participating in sexual immorality (adultery, homosexuality and other disease promoting acts of the flesh); rejecting America’s Judeo-Christian heritage; agreeing with those who are seeking to declare both The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States as antiquated documents; abandoning the Nation of Israel in Her coming time of “Jacob’s Trouble.” Acts of Godlessness and treasonous beliefs on the part of “enlightened, but deceived” supporters of the coming Antichrist must not go unchallenged.

Unfortunately, today’s America is fast becoming a cesspool of evil and will soon, if we as a Nation have not already done so, progress beyond a point of no return where individual freedom and liberty will be lost.  But apparently, there are many who no longer care about freedom and liberty as given to us in the Constitution of the United States and The Declaration of Independence as long as the government promises to take care of them and someone else pays for their care and support.

So I say this to the remaining two-thirds (Maybe there are that many moral people left who feel it is not the governments job to take care of them, but I suspect the number is much lower.) of America’s people: Wake Up! Stand Up! Remove from power all those who are trying to destroy the foundations that have made America so great. Otherwise, history will record that America was just another Sodom and Gomorrah—a den of sexual perversion and immorality (Genesis 19).

You can begin by accepting the Pledge of Allegiance with the “under God” words included as your commitment of solidarity with other likeminded Americans who are proud of this country and want the United States to continue to be the beacon of hope for the remainder of the world.  You are not required to say the Pledge, see Wikipedia for origin and court challenges, but America must be restored and what better way of reintroducing patriotism than by saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

But remember this, the Trinity of God should be first in your life and not your country; however, God is the creator of all governmental authority, and I would think He would not condemn you for being patriotic and asking for His guidance in your daily prayers for the restoration of the United States of America.

“If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”—Isaiah 7:9b NIV.So, where do you stand in your faith?

I believe that I would be correct in stating that the vast majority of professing “Christians” have stood silently, for at least the past sixty years or so, and allowed the intellectual antichrists of this Nation transform America into a Godless oasis of immorality, greed and corruption all in the name of Secular Humanism, political correctness and “equality” without responsibility. 

In fact, I was one of those who stood silent.  I now refer to myself as a “Recovering Closet Christian” who once, but no longer, failed to speak up vocally to defend the America of our founding fathers, the God into whose hands our Nation has been entrusted, and Jesus Christ, my Savior and the Savior of the world for those who are called by the Holy Spirit of God.

America’s atheists and liberal secular, socialists and progressive antichrists (to name just a few) demanded that God be quieted and/or restricted from America’s schools, institutions, government and public gatherings—the American Civil Liberty Union’s (ACLU) court actions and judicial rulings on the part of the Supreme Court saw fit to remove God from America in their delusional misinterpreted understanding of “Separation of Church and State.”  

America’s Christians, by their silence and inaction, condoned the removal of God from America. Because of the majorities silence, God’s commandments are now hidden from public view, His Holy Word (the Bible) is outlawed from schools, institutions and work places as subversive hate literature and public prayer is prohibited with threats of court mandated police action if prayer words—Jesus, Amen, Let us pray, and etc.—are uttered.  Throughout all of this the majority of American churches have stood silent.

Elected political leader in America have abandoned their pledge to “defend and support the Constitution of the United States of America.” Look at the Washington political scene with the lying, cheating and scandalous activities engaged in by “honorable” members of all “Political Parties.” Think about what is going on behind the scenes that has not yet been made transparent. What is more important, survival of political parties or the survival of the Nation? Apparently it is the scandalous activities of politicians that America cares about and not the Nation’s unemployment and economic debt and bankruptcy that darkens America’s future. Where will America find leader with integrity and moral values now that Christian values are no longer honored? Yet, the majority of American churches have stood silent.  

It is becoming more apparent that many in political positions of leadership are embracing Islam as a faith more “holy” and more feared than the God of the Holy Bible. America’s leaders will ultimately, through the stalling tactics of “diplomacy and United Nation sanctions,” deny the Nation of Israel military assistance or physical support in her coming period of crisis. 

 Islam will become the official “State Religion,” prohibited by our Constitution but recognized by our President as a peaceful religion of hope; where are the outcries of our Constitutional Republic’s defenders? It is sheer lunacy for followers of Islam to be allowed to pray openly whenever and wherever they choose but Biblical Christians denied the same religious privilege. For America to deny Israel its support but grant Palestinian’s, who vow to destroy Israel regardless of any political settlements or concessions made by Israel, total support at this crucial time in history will be the final “kiss of death” for America and her people if America fails to stand with Israel.

True Biblical Christians, not “Christians” who do not believe in the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ, must now stand and become peaceful, but outspoken, Defenders of the Faith.  There can be silence no longer.  It is time to stand for your God—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to stand for the goodness of America.  The Holy Spirit of the living God indwells you, and you have the power of Almighty God working within you for doing good and not evil. 

Commit to memory the following scripture verses as they will give you solace and strength when you, as a Biblical Christian, are brought under persecution in these United States of America by the forces of spiritual darkness (the workings of the Antichrist) now so prevalent and active:

 ·         “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid” (Psalms 27:1 NIV)?

·         “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 3:13 NIV).

·         “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority” (Colossians 2:9-10 NIV)

.·          “…the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4 NIV).

·         “If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God” (1 John 4:15 NIV).

Stand ready with God’s Holy Scriptures to fight the spiritual darkness that now is moving to destroy those who fear and worship God.

As Biblical Christians and as Defenders of the Faith it is imperative that you, as the heretofore unseen and unheard—“the silent majority”—begin to make your presence known.  For your voices to be heard, you must confess and rededicate your life to live for Jesus Christ. Start by:

 ·         “Loving the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and…Loving your neighbor as yourself” paraphrased teaching of Jesus as taught in Matthew 22:37-40 NIV.  God must come first in every believer’s life.

·         Becoming part of a fellowship of Biblical Christian Believers in a home church or community church.  This is not a time to “go it alone.” There is power in the fellowship of believers and that power must be exercised now. 

 ·         Condemning all forms of immorality, greed, corruption and political hypocrisy and selfishness displayed in the lives of all who call “evil good and good evil.”

·         Rejecting false religions and their antichrist teachers and supporters.

·         Condemn and reject Islam. Islam, in Biblical Christianity, is the religion of “The Antichrist (Lawless One).”  Islam denies the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Islam specifically denies the deity of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ as the only pathway to His heaven. Islam must be, and can be, stopped through the Prayers of Holy Spirit filled Believers.

·         Defending America and restoring the principles her founding fathers established.  The Ten Commandments must be removed from the closet, public prayer must be reestablished, moral integrity, character and honesty must become the standards taught to the present generation of Godless men, women and children.

·         Restoring family values must become a priority if America is to be saved.  Fathers must take charge of their families and prepare them for the conflicts to come. If there is no father, then mothers must establish control and become the spiritual leaders of the family.  Many children have become Godless as a result of being “left alone” to watch movies, television and internet pornography of their choosing.   

Morality is no longer considered sacred and holy in America or in the world.  Godliness must be taught to the children; they must know how to choose right over wrong and good over evil. Cancellation of inappropriate propaganda Network programming is a must if morality is to survive.

 “The Day of the Lord” is coming soon. The Lord said He would, “…make man scarcer than pure gold…and…the heavens (will) tremble; and the earth will shake from its place” if man remained defiant, Isaiah 13:12-13 NIV (emphasis mine).  Biblical prophecies have been one hundred percent correct. You must prepare for the days to come. They are coming whether the masses believe it or not.

Man will continue to deny God and will willingly accept the teachings of the Antichrist (The Lawless One). “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.  They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved.  For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NIV).

I believe the “lie” is the Islam profession of faith: “There is no god but Allah, Mohammed is his Prophet.”  If you are not a Biblical Believer in the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ, you will profess the Islamic profession of faith and wear the infamous “666.”  Let the non-believers laugh. It is your soul that is at stake and in danger of burning in the “lake of fire.” Why listen to the godless and allow them to decide your fate?

Will you become a Defender and commit yourself to serve Jesus Christ? Do you want to have peace and power over Satan and his antichrists?  Do you want to be able to face the coming rebellion and not stand with the many “non-Biblical Christians” who will be denying the God they proclaim?  If so, heed the call of Jesus if He is calling your today.

Now is the time to stand as Defenders of the Faith—in peace with the promise of Jesus Christ and not in violence as practiced by other religions.

Do you consider yourself a religious person?  Do you belong to a religious group?  Do you believe there is a heaven or hell?  Do you believe the Ten Commandments are outdated and have no application into today’s “enlightened society?”  Do Moslems and Christians worship the same God?  Do you believe the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God? These are just some of the questions you should be asking yourself if you are at all concerned about the coming Middle East conflict that will be centered on Jerusalem.

You do not believe there will be a conflict?  You do not believe the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God? So be it!  In the not too distant future it will be made apparent to you.  The Islamic religion and its political foundation and thought are built around Islam becoming “The One World Religion and Government,” the enactment of Shiria Law and the extermination of all who will not accept and believe in Allah.  There can be no other god but Allah, and all other religions will not be tolerated.  If you do not get this fact straight in your mind, you will one day confess the Islamic Profession of Faith: “There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is His Prophet.”

It is my personal opinion that America as a nation has abandoned the Biblical God of the Holy Bible.  America has become a Godless, secular nation. Despite the denial of many, it still remains true that America was founded on Biblical principles; America’s founders were inspired and brought together by the working of the Holy Spirit.  Review the personal writings of its founders and the foundational documents they prepared and signed.  There is no other conclusion that could be reached if you apply honesty to your research. 

As a side note, you may think Glenn Beck is a fool but his programming has, with its “teachable moments,” documented and revealed the truth regarding America’s founding fathers and patriots. Who knew of the many African Americans and women who made significant contributions in America’s founding years of revolution and the years thereafter?  America is the greatest nation that has ever been, and there is still time to recapture her greatness but only through her people’s repentance and their return to God.  Many of its truths have been distorted or left out of history books by authors who are descendants of “the children of the Antichrists who roam the earth looking to destroy and do evil.”

America’s current President, his Czars, many of America’s top government bureaucrats be they Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or whatever party they claim to serve who represent the people in the Senate, House of Representatives, or the Judicial branch, along with most Network News organizations (a shameless bunch of “Talking Heads”) and many other governmental departments and agencies, are deliberately trying to destroy America’s Constitution and adopt another form of government that will “re-distribute the wealth and fundamentally change America” and grant supreme power to a few.  It is obvious in their words and actions.  Open your eyes and ears and you will see the truth.  Their actions should be considered treasonable, but many Americans, who make no contributions to society, do not seem to care as long as they “get theirs—free food, shelter and medical care.” 

Are you one of the “many” that would like to see America defeated?  If so, continue to ignore, support or even participate in America’s increasing sexual immorality, greed, corruption, economic bankruptcy, secular beliefs and political correct agenda, and Godliness disguised as religious piety. God gave man the ending of this age from the beginning; this TRUTH is found in the Holy Bible for those who have been chosen to believe in the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.

I would offer that America was spiritually ordained in her founding to become a great nation and to defeat the German war machine led by Adolf Hitler and save the Jewish people; God used America to protect the Jews from “being wiped from the face of the earth.”  But, in the coming Middle East conflict God will not need America to protect His people, the Jews; God has already ordained how the Middle East conflict will end.  Islam will not be triumphant in destroying Israel and her people. Israel’s future is revealed in the prophecy of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.  It is all described and foretold in the Holy Bible.  Look it up for yourself if you are in disbelief.

Many in America have grown indifferent to the plight of the Jewish nation of Israel.  They are indifferent because of their Biblical illiteracy and lifestyle complacency of material abundance and wealth.  America is in danger of being condemned, if she has not already been judged, if she does not stand with Israel in the coming Middle East conflict and does not confess her sins as a nation and return to God.

When God called Abraham (Abram), read the full account in Genesis 12:1-3, He told Abraham: “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse: and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” Genesis 12-2-3 NIV.  For those who do not know the “rest of the story,” the Hebrews (Jews) have not always followed God’s commandments, and they have been punished severely for their unfaithfulness throughout history.  In fact, they are still under a curse today.  God warned that they would be under a curse if they did not obey His commandments, but He also promised that He would not destroy them completely if they would repent, confess their sins and return to Him. He promised to restore to them the blessings (covenants) promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Read about God’s promises to the Hebrews in the Book of Leviticus, chapter 26, if they are obedient to His commandments.  History testifies to the accuracy of God’s word.  Future prophecies testify to their deliverance and salvation.

Do your own homework; examine the Bible and the Koran and compare their teachings.  You will find that the God of the Bible and the god of the Koran are not the same and Jesus is not the same.  Biblical Christians, as opposed to just Christians, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that salvation is found only through Him, and that one day He will return for His church as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” Revelation 19:16b NIV. Moslems believe that Jesus was just a good prophet, that one day he will return and confess that he did not die on the cross and that he is not the Son of God. He will confess to being a servant of the Madhi, and his mission will be to kill all Jews and Christians who will not convert to Islam.

Which God do you serve or will you serve?  Unless you are a Biblical Christian you will serve the coming Antichrist.  The world is in denial and under deception because of man’s self-will.  Man designs his own god’s and delights in the thinking that he is right; a man made and taught “religious” system that “has a form of Godliness but without power.” Man is such a fool and left to his own “thinking” he will only become more degenerate in his thinking and actions.  Examine the Godliness of past generations of people and nations and you will find the evidence.  Read 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 in the Holy Bible for insight into the coming Antichrist (Satan) and the “powerful delusion” God will send the godless.  You can see this “delusion” in the thinking of the worldly today, especially in the United States.

The Holy Spirit of God will reveal the mysteries of God to you if you will only confess your sins and believe in the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.  It is my personal belief that God does not call everyone.  If so, I hope you hear and heed His calling if He is calling you: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believe in the name of God’s one and only Son” John 3:16-18 NIV.

What more can be said.  The Godly will remain good and the Godless will remain evil.  God has already defeated the Antichrist (and Satan); the “Day of the Lord” is coming soon. Yield to Him today!

We live in perilous times just as previous generations lived through their “perilous times.”  Wars, genocides, street and gang violence, pestilences, natural disasters are just a few of the perils of life.  Though seemingly fragile, life continues to flourish and survive.   

The latest crisis in Egypt is but another event that moves the world ever closer to prophesied end time events.  Many  “experts” would disagree in that they do not believe in biblical prophesies.  They would say the Egyptian people are on the brink of “Democratic Freedom,” and the world is destined to become a better place because the youth of Egypt are more “knowledgeable of freedom” than their fathers.   

The people of Egypt have spoken, but have they? For all the fluff eschew by the press, millions did not turn out in the streets but only several hundred thousand.  The “mandate of the people” only achieved what the military junta allowed. The military is now visible and in total control, and  they no longer have a constitution. 

Whenever there is a crisis the experts (the Bobble Heads of Network News) appear. They are confident they have the answer, but only time will tell the truth of their “knowledge.” Modern day experts should be held accountable like prophets of old.  They should have a consistent accuracy rate of one hundred percent to be acknowledged as experts.  This week the world has been subjected to a broad spectrum of experts and their “certain” knowledge of who would rule Egypt. 

Is there a prophet among them?  There is a “Chicken Little” but not a Prophet.  Read the “Is Glenn Beck, Chicken Little” blog dated 04/16/10, “Glenn Beck: A Voice Crying in the Wilderness” blog dated 10-15-09 and “The Bobble Head” blog dated 07-17-09 on this site, blog.northloopcottage.com, for previous attempts to provide “comic relief humor” for the daily stress of life in these perilous times. 

Men of God were led to prophesy the fate of Israel and the Middle East in biblical writings written over two thousand years ago. It does not end well for either side in the near term, but ultimately Israel will be the victor, and all Nations will flock to Jerusalem yearly to pay homage to the ruling King—Jesus Christ, “The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16).” For additional insight, read  the fourteen chapter of Malachi. 

Isaiah prophesied: “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria (Iraq). The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria, The Egyptian and Assyrians will worship together.  In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.  The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, ‘Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance” (Isaiah 19:23-25 NIV).

Imagine, the people of Egypt and Iraq, both Islamic countries and followers of Allah, will be converted to become followers of Jesus Christ, and the remaining remnant of the nation of Israel will recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah. All three countries will worship the God of the Bible—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  God will be their only God and all nations will worship Him. 

Until that day comes there remains an untold period of tribulation. Yes, in the not too distant future there will come a time of peace for Israel (A seven year peace treaty will be signed), and the people of the world and Israel will celebrate as they are now celebrating in the streets of Egypt.  For Israel, their peace will not last but will end when Russia and her hosts attempt an invasion of “annihilation.“ Their attempt will fail and five-fifths of their army will be destroyed.   Read more about this account in Ezekiel chapters thirty-eight and thirty-nine. Also, read the book of Daniel; it is not long and you actually might enjoy reading a history book written thousands of years ago. 

During one phase of the coming Middle East conflict, the death toll orchestrated by the coming Antichrist will be so horrendous that it will take seven months (Ezekiel 39:12) for the dead to be gathered and buried.  The white crosses at Normandy will pale in comparison to the graveyard that has been prepared for those who will fight against Israel.   

During the time of Jacob’s trouble (last three and one-half years of the seven year tribulation period), “The Hebrew children of Israel will once again be slaughtered.” Two-thirds of their population will be decimated, but a remnant will be set aside and will be protected by Jesus; they will accept Him as their Messiah and enter the kingdom of heaven—Jesus’ one thousand year reign on earth in the city of Jerusalem—once the final conflict of Armageddon is fought. For those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, all is well.  Their destiny is an eternity of peace and joy, but not so for those who have resisted the call of God.  While it is true that persecution will increase across the earth, and the True Christians of the world will suffer at the hands of the ungodly and the Antichrist, Jesus Christ will be victorious.   

The True Christian’s final destination and salvation was purchased by Jesus Christ over two thousand years ago when he gave His life on the Cross of Calvary for their sins and then rose victoriously over “death and the grave.” 

There is hope only in Jesus Christ.  Will you claim that hope before it is too late?

“[T]hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint( Isaiah 40:31 NIV).” 

Have you placed your trust in the promises and words of President Obama?  He is the messiah to many who are without hope, but his hope is no hope for the troubled times to come.  Have you considered that President Obama and his team are authorities established by God to bring to fruition the end-time prophesies recorded in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible?  

A man without God—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—will place his hope in Lucifer (Satan), an angel created by God, and in the Antichrist (the earthly man who will be indwelled by Satan) who will soon come in peacefully to negotiate a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians.  Those without God will worship him as prophesied in the book of Revelation. 

What is your hope? Would you consider placing your hope in Jesus Christ? Can you hear the Spirit’s call (or wooing) when you sing or hear the words to the old gospel tune, “The Solid Rock?”  “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.  On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.”  (Words, Edward Mote, 1832. Tune Solid Rock, William B. Bradbury, 1863.)  

Modern day churches are too sophisticated to sing this song, but it was a favorite to millions of born-again believers during years of the past when God was honored and worshiped by Christians in America. 

Maybe your hope is in yourself, your government, your spouse or in some other tangible substance. In today’s world of uncertainty, maybe you have placed your hope in gold and silver—a good place but be reminded that Biblical prophesy recorded in Ezekiel 7:19 NIV reads, “They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing.  Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin.”  

In times of famine and destruction, gold and silver (idols, coins, bullion, material possessions) will not satisfy your hunger if there is no food to purchase. Give it some thought as you prepare for the hard times to come. I have placed my hope in Jesus Christ.  His Holy Spirit indwells and comforts me in our troubled times. I know He holds the keys to my future, and I am not afraid. How about you? 

Have your considered Jesus or are you trusting in the “Audacity of Hope” promised by President Obama? It is your choice.  Choose wisely, your soul and spirit are at stake.

The past month has been torturous to anyone with any semblance of a sane mind; at least that is my opinion if I consider my own state of mind in the insane world of “new age” politics.  I have maxed out on political polls, unsolicited late evening campaign phone calls, talk radio, Internet blogs, news magazines, newspapers, television and of course, Obama’s world view laced with his own brand of hate speech—what else would you call his words spoken about the tea parties, republicans and those “enemies” who do not support his agenda to bankrupt America and make it a third world country.  That’s my opinion, of course.

So much for a president that promised both transparency and new leadership that would bring both sides of the political aisles together.  For an older person “change” is frightening, and the feeling is akin to what a parent or grandparent experiences with losing a child in a public place be it a public park, department store or even in one’s own neighborhood if you consider what the future will bring if America stays on its present political and non-religious direction.    

Looking back to a period when my children were younger, I can still remember shopping outings with my son and daughter to buy the weekly family groceries.  My wife and I have always tried to work as a team and share the enjoyment of parenthood and that especially meant sharing the joy of shopping excursions with the young ones.  For us, it worked to our advantage and benefit; we raised two physically and mentally healthy children, and with their husband and wife they have given us five wonderful and healthy grandchildren.

But, let’s get back to the grocery buying.  Once I took my son David, who was around four years of age at the time, grocery shopping while my wife stayed home with our one-year-old daughter.  I always enjoyed taking my children with me wherever I went.  It was easy for a man, at least in my generation, because women would help a man with children if he looked bewildered or lost while shopping—That was often my mindset.  Maybe the women were just being flirty, but at the time I did not think so.

As David and I wandered through the supermarket aisles we paused to look at the various cereal assortments.  David made his selection, I believe it was the one with the “Star War” figure, but if there were not a toy in the cereal box the one with the most sugar would have been his second choice.  Children know their brand name cereal by the color and shape of the boxes.  I placed David’s selection in the cart and proceeded to look at the more nutritional offerings for myself.  It seemed like only a few seconds had passed when I turned to check on my son’s whereabouts. 

Looking up and down the aisle I did not see David.  I pushed the cart to the end of the aisle thinking he had walked ahead; I looked left, and then right, followed by another look left and then right.  No David.  I turned left and casually walked to the next aisle and took a careful look and still no David.  I then walked to the next aisle, and not seeing David I assumed he had gone in the opposite direction.

I turned and headed back in the other direction. This time I was walking at a faster pace while still looking down each aisle as I headed to the far end of the store.  Still there was no David in sight.  I was now beginning to get a little concerned. 

As a sinking feeling came over me I began to talk to myself, mentally.  I thought for a second and then proceeded once again in the opposite direction.  Walking once again down the back aisle of the store I took a quick look down each aisle as I passed.  My speed had picked up, and I was walking at a really fast pace but not yet in a run.

When I reached the other end of the store I was now in a panic state; there was no David in sight. My next move was to head for the front of the store and ask that an all out store search be made for my missing child.

All kind of horrible thoughts ran through my mind.  What would I tell my wife?  “Honey, I’ve lost our son!” would not be a message I would want to be telling her—not today, not ever.

As I took a deep calming breath and prepared to abandon my cart and head for the front, I heard a familiar voice.  “Dad, that was fun. Let’s do it again.”  Looking down and under my grocery cart there sat David.  He was sitting on the bottom rack of the cart and was hidden from my view by the other groceries that were stacked high. 

Relieved, I smiled and said, “OK, let’s do it again,” and I eagerly began to push the cart at a fast pace to the front of the store.  My shopping for the day had been brought to a sudden halt, and I was suddenly feeling a compulsive urge to spend some quality time with my family.  I also learned a valuable lesson—check the obvious places first.

If you have ever had the experience of temporarily losing a child you will know the feeling.  I can only imagine the horror of having a child taken, accidentally killed, or having to send a child away for their own safety as has happened in wartime situations in other countries.

Prior to the start of World War II many Jewish parents in Poland and Germany began sending their children to live with relatives and even sometimes to live with strangers in other countries who were willing to take them.  They had a premonition of what Hitler and Nazi Germany rule would bring and they were right.  Think of the horror of having to send your children away and possibly never seeing them again.   Think of the horror the children would bear not fully understanding why.

If America allows President Obama to have his way, our children and grandchildren will not have the freedom past generations of Americans have enjoyed.  Think of the horrors they have not yet been confronted with and the dictatorial society they will live under; a godless society basking in sexual immorality, greed, and lust, and a society without hope. 

Now is the time to act.  Make sure you vote today (Tuesday, November 2^nd).  It is more than just your right; it’s your children’s future that is at stake. The future of America depends on its citizenry to step up and defend their Republic and their way of life.

I believe Lucifer, that would be Satan’s birth name for the unenlightened, is a major lobbyist for the Progressive Democrat Socialist machine of President Obama.  Lucifer’s qualifications are impeccable, and his methods—distortion of TRUTH—are beyond human understanding. 

Lucifer’s wants to be your god, and he will be your god if you do not have the protection of the Holy Spirit of God indwelling you.  You’re an agnostic and do not believe in God; you have been deceived in believing that man is a god unto himself.  You’re a Christian and believe there is more than one way to heaven; you have been deceived, and your lack of a testimony of the TRUTH of Jesus Christ is leading the innocent seekers of God astray.  You are a teacher, political or religious leader and you do not believe in God; you have been deceived, and your soul will be held accountable for the souls you led astray.

It is a tragedy that more than fifty percent of the people of America are lost (in the biblical sense), and live in a world where Lucifer seeks “to devour those he finds who are willing to accept and follow him in partaking of “worldly pleasures.”  They are lost because they have no hope.  Unskilled, unmotivated and uninvolved the “UN’s” of America cannot provide for their own needs, and they are truly in need of a government protector who will care for them.  The Progressive Democratic Socialist party of President Obama is their hope; however, their messiah who promises “hope and change” is also lost; it is the blind leading the blind.

You believe in Lucifer, but you will not believe in Jesus Christ.  Even the demons of the universe know Jesus is the Son of God.  So what will it be?  Your self-will or God’s will for your life.  I chose God’s will for my life, and I am thankful He accepted me into His kingdom.

Picture this: The women of  “The View,” along with Katie and Diane of Network News fame strutting their stuff on TV dressed in full burqas (loose body covering, head covering, face-veil). Think of the flowing burqa dressed ladies as they glide across the floor on “Dancing with the Stars.” How about the ladies portrayed as “strong and macho” in the various detective dramas; that soon to be lesbian couple of “Rizzoli and Isles,” and Kyra of “The Closer” would certainly lose viewership. And dare we forget, Kelly, of the “Regis and Kelly” show fame. Burqa dress would certainly ruin TV and advertising, as it is presently viewed and sometimes even enjoyed. 

I can certainly understand why Moslem men are allowed to have four wives and an occasional “temporary” wife for sexual pleasure, if you know what I mean. If under Sharia law a husband was not able to see their bride’s “bodily flesh” until after marriage, it would be like buying a “pig in a poke.” (Check out the biblical story of Jacob, Leah, Rachael and a father-in-law’s (Laban) deception recorded in Genesis chapter twenty-nine regarding the full burqa.) Maybe by being allowed multiple wives they would be able to find one that was attractive to them physically.  Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are other “beauties in women” than physical beauty.  And of course, there would not be a “trophy wife” syndrome plaguing aging senior executives in the corporate world if women were required to wear the burqa. 

But, enough already of this attempt at comedy and humor at the expense of another religion and its dress code: I have taken some liberty in assuming that Islamic women are never seen without their burqas and I realize this is not true.  The picture images imagined above, however, could be comical if they were only pictures.  But, Sharia is coming and it is coming faster than anyone could have ever dreamed, and it will not bring peace and respect for women. 

Yes, Ladies, the everyday Muslim woman who has submitted to Islam and Allah may be peaceful, but Muslim men who have both submitted and “believe in their hearts” the teaching of Islam and Allah, will follow the Qur’an and Sharia law as dictated by their Mosque leader or religious authority.  The tenets of Islam require, and cannot be satisfied, until Islam has conquered the world, either peacefully or by non-peaceful means, and forces all believers to declare, “Allah is God and Muhammad is his messenger” [emphasis and word order is mine].

Islam is at war against all nations and people who have not submitted. The United States is presumably at war (“Are we at war or not?” is the question.) with Islamic extremists, but we should also be at war with “true believers” of Islam because one of their goals is the conquest of the United States for Allah.  Muslims are allowed to lie if it advances their cause unlike the Christian religion that has a commandment, “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor (Deuteronomy 5:20).” You cannot accept Muslims at their word; you judge them by their actions.

Islam is definitely not a religion of peace for women living under true Islam and Sharia law. Religious tolerance discussions that accept as truth a wrongly held belief that Islam is a peaceful religion are only politically correct stammerings of political leaders and “journalist (teleprompt readers).”  They delight in accepting and portraying as truth the lies of Islam, while belittling Americans of religious faith.  I find laughable the discussions of “religious tolerance” that have plagued the news almost 24/7 for the past week or so.   America is sinking and all we hear is chatter and name calling regarding the building of a Mosque in New York City.  America’s “religious liberty” discussion is all a charade orchestrated by the evil one to come. 

Should the news media types, most of whom are do-gooders, or enablers, as I like to call them, be criticized for having declared evil good and God bad, in the support of our current President and his Czars of Socialists/Communist distinction that are seeking to replace America’s Republic and its Constitution for a Godless system of government—the European model of Socialism.  Yes, but America’s problems cannot be laid solely at the feet of the media.

While news media “journalists” sat silently and read their scripts and Christian America sat silently and condoned, sanctioned and participated in immoralities, lust and greed, America’s political institutions were left to govern themself. By tossing God out of America, by discarding the morality code of the Ten Commandments and by allowing activist judges (with the aide of the ACLU) to systematically destroy what was once a great country, America is now about to embrace another god (Allah) in her ignorance to be a nation of religious tolerance.  But why not, as a pagan nation with a never satiated desire and lust for sexual immorality we have become a nation foolish enough to watch and believe the “news” that is reported nightly. Because of America’s newfound ignorance and politically correct adherence, America is deserving (as some would say) of the evil to come.

Ladies, do not worry about aging.  In the coming years you will be shielded by your burqas.  It is unpleasant to think of the innocent little grandchildren of our generation who will suffer the humiliation and abuse inflicted by Islam and Sharia law. America is now but a nation too lustful to stand for morality and too weak and fearful to defend its own borders and laws.

Thought questions of the day:

·        In a lesbian relationship, will the “woman” partner have to wear a burqa?

·        Do political women and newswomen have their heads buried in the sand? Do they understand the full   implications of Sharia law? Would they willingly wear the burqa?

·        Is America just stupid, or what?

The God of the Bible can forgive you of the sin of sexual immorality. The god of Islam, Allah, requires that the sexual immoral (a lesbian, for example) be stoned to death.  So, which one is the peaceful religion.  I will let you and your God or god decide.  As for me, I am going with the God of the Bible—the God of Abraham, Isaacs and Jacob.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have an honest discussion of Christianity and Islam? Maybe on the morning talk shows.  Maybe hell will freeze over.

“What me worry,” remarked Alfred E. Neuman of Mad Magazine fame.  “Hell yes we worry,” screamed America’s remaining Christians.

I just don’t get it.  Do the “Obamacrats” not see their leader, President Barrack Hussein Obama, and his leadership team of radicals for what they represent?  History tells us that Socialism, Communism, Progressivism, Fascism, and any other form of government that stifles and enslaves its citizens will not work.  But, neither does Capitalism when greed and government intervention distort the playing field of the free market system and hinders entrepreneurial innovation, incentive and initiative. 

America has become a nation of consumers too lazy to care and too busy to fight for their countries future. “In God We Trust” should be replaced with “In Government We Trust.” The sixties crowd of youthful drug and sexually liberated “know it alls” abdicated their responsibilities, denied the faith, and allowed themselves to be seduced by the force of darkness that masquerades as light and freedom.  Under their watch godlessness was allowed to craw from beneath the darkness of shame into the light of respectability.

Why did so-called “Godly Christians” sit quietly for so long and accept political correctness and atheism as wholesome and enlightened thought. Is society better off now that Americans find the following acceptable:  

• Same sex marriages are honorable and “God” ordained
• Marriage vows are easily forsaken or broken without shame
• Homes and children’s lives are corrupted by false teachings
• Christian churches are casting out their messiah
• Schools are harbingers of unruly students defended by parents too busy to care, teachers too afraid to speak up, and school boards ignorant of curriculum teaching requirements and student learning differences and abilities
• Television programming continually promotes and teaches disrespect for authority, parents, and institutions of morality? 

 Today we find our country and many, if not all, of its political leaders caught up in unending acts of stupidity.  The current debate regarding “Ground Zero” and religious tolerance is enough to drive one batty—maybe we are all already insane and just don’t realize it.  No wonder so many Americans turn to drugs and sexual immorality to temporarily stop the insanity inundating their minds.  The current rhetoric is but just another distracter, which is being deployed by the forces of evil to wear down and divide the citizenry of the United States and to hide the real change being readied for America.  Look at America’s leadership: 

• President Obama is trying to “straddle the middle of the fence,” proclaiming to be Christian while acting Islamic (his early childhood development is ingrained and more and more people say he is a follower of Islam and Allah), and hiding his true identity trying to appease (read as deceive) the gullible. Did President Obama suddenly have an epiphany and realize religion is important and a Constitutional right.

• Nancy Pelosi’s, America’s most favored Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and one of California’s “darlings,” favorite word is the “Word” as she so eloquently explained to the cameras. I will not question her religious beliefs.  She will have to give an accounting to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for her despicable conduct if she truly believes in the Word.  For those with interest please read the book of John found in the Christian Bible. John wrote (John 1: 1-5 NKJV), “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

• And then we have good old Harry Reid, who as the Senate Majority Leader of the United States Senate is orchestrating America’s financial recovery to a comparable level—high unemployment, housing foreclosures and poverty— with that of his home State of Nevada.  Harry is a beacon of hope for Nevadans, who if reelected in November’s election, will give what the people of Nevada apparently want—continued high unemployment, housing foreclosures and poverty.  Even Harry has religion, but not a religion he would willing share less he be identified as a zealot.

 America has now become the laughing stock of the whole world. Where has common sense gone?  Where do you find truth?  Can you name a trusted source of information that does not seek to distort, hype, mislead, all for the sake of entertainment, ratings and political “one up man ship?”

Hope?  What is America’s hope?  Without God, America has no hope; hope is now only a dream of the past that is being flaunted to a godless people.  America is being flushed, to use a “bathroom term,” and as the flush gains in speed around and down “the great white bowl” the rhetoric will only get worse, violence will only increase, and eventually anarchy will usher in the fundamental change promised.  America the Beautiful will soon be flushed down the sewer, as previous civilizations were who refused to say no to immorality, greed and lust and who allowed themselves to become enthralled with their own “humanity,” believe they could become gods and be as an equal with God. 

President Obama and his handlers are deliberately destroying America, and the Democratic and Republican Parties in their ignorance and greed are helping them.  We have become a Nation of liars, whiners, cheats and scoundrels too weak to stand and defend its founder’s principles and religious values.  America’s current leadership can’t and won’t defend it countries’ own borders. Soon most of America’s citizenry will willingly accept a one-world government if promised perpetual care and protection in a utopia of bliss and harmony. But maybe, that is what many in America deserve and what needs to happen. 

An ever-increasing uneducated citizenry of ignorant and lazy proponents of government handouts and bailouts are incapable of voting for the good of their country and fellow man. Citizens and Illegal Aliens who voted for fundamental change deserve what they get, but the young children of America do not. And yet, no one seems to care as long as they do not have to miss their upcoming television sitcom program.
